The MBA Association is a registered student association registered under the Voluntary Social Service Organizations (Registration and Supervision) (Amendment) Act, No. 8 of 1998. (Reg. No. CPC/KDS/V/131)
The MBA Association is comprised of the following members.
The AGM of the MBA association is held every year during the first quarter at the notification of the secretary of the association.
At the AGM, office bearers are selected from the new MBA batch that got admitted. In addition to that, audit reports are presented to the members and new proposals are made. The new batch who assumes duties will be transferred all the legal, financial and accounts documents so that they will be handled by them for the proceeding year.
The MBA association organises various fundraisers throughout the year. Given that Peradeniya MBA values experiential learning, such events are organised with an eye to contributing to students' learning. Therefore these events, in addition to raising funds to the programme, provide students with the opportunity to gain more knowledge and experience.
