The MBA Association is a registered student association registered under the Voluntary Social Service Organizations (Registration and Supervision) (Amendment) Act, No. 8 of 1998. (Reg. No. CPC/KDS/V/131)
The MBA Association is comprised of the following members.
In addition to the office bearers, committee members are also elected representing each batch — the current batch, junior batch, and the senior batches.
The AGM of the MBA association is held every year during the first quarter at the notification of the secretary of the association. At the AGM, office bearers are selected from the new MBA batch, audit reports are presented, and new proposals are made.
The MBA association organises various fundraisers throughout the year. Given that Peradeniya MBA values experiential learning, such events are organised with an eye to contributing to students' learning. Therefore these events, in addition to raising funds for the programme, provide students with the opportunity to gain more knowledge and experience.
